Not to be mistaken for members of Greenpeace, Kyoto Protocol are a five-piece outfit based in Malaysia who kick-started a renaissance in the Malaysian music scene. Since their humble beginnings playing covers in local bars, the band got heads turning and ears listening when they opened for MGMT in their maiden concert on Malaysian soil, subsequently clinching spots at various music festivals, sharing the stage alongside many more international acts.
